Curious Music is very pleased to present I Am Ghosts, the definitive edition of Luca Formentini’s deeply personal Ghosts series. This release brings together the complete cycle in its most expansive and immersive form to date. Available as a 2LP set on 180-gram crystal clear vinyl and as a digital box set, I Am Ghosts marks the first time these works have been gathered as a unified whole. Originally issued as four digital EPs, the music is now presented in a tactile format that deepens the listening experience, accompanied by artwork from Petulia Mattioli that reflects the project’s themes of presence, absence, and memory.

The digital edition includes all four original EPs along with two new compositions—”We Don’t End” and “Falia”. These bonus tracks are available in both stereo and Dolby Atmos formats, extending the emotional and spatial dimensions of the Ghosts aesthetic without departing from its quiet restraint.

“We Don’t End” introduces a broader harmonic reach, gently pointing toward what might follow without fully revealing its shape. Falia continues in that spirit, built from melodic fragments and sustained tones that move quietly through introspective space. As a whole, I Am Ghosts feels architectural in its construction—layers of sound as structure, silence as breath, and emotion expressed through tone rather than narrative.

ABOUT LUCA FORMENTINI

Luca Formentini is a composer, sound artist, and guitarist based in northern Italy. A self-taught musician with a background in environmental activism and philosophy, his work often explores emotional resonance through subtle sonic shifts and real-time sound manipulation. In addition to his solo output, he has collaborated with artists including Markus Stockhausen, Robert Rich, Holger Czukay, Steve Jansen, and Theo Travis. I Am Ghosts stands as both a consolidation and an expansion of one of his most personal and exploratory projects.
